Thanks Dan! I am very happy with them and im a bit hard to please so I guess that's a good thing. You can ask Bruce about that one hahaha. The longer travel on the struts is very nice and much more scale than the previous. The gear come with lights and door sequencer which I will probably only need for the front nose door. Just waiting on some batteries to test them out.

After weighing it in with all the components looks to be just under 27 lbs. Wingspan is half a foot bigger than the old version which came in roughly 25 lbs so sounds about right. Ofcourse depending on power system. 90's to 120's.

Quick question that may have been answered long ago...apologies if so. I've read that the A-10 suffers from down-thrust unless the nacelles compensate for it...is that true?
Also...will there be a lighting kit for this beauty? thanks!

Hi Morgan
Yes. I believe on the real A-10 its around 3 degrees up for thrust tubes because the engines are off center. Funny though, on some of my old kits there was no problem and on others there was a bit of a nose dive when throttled without the up thrust. Probably dependent on the setup as well. The real A-10 also has a crazy wing setup. Both wings are in the negative. It had taken me many months to find the correct answer to this on the front wing and I finally received it from the A-10 weapons systems office before I moved along making the molds.
The scale gear will come with working lights.
thanks

Can you make the retracts quieter? I have noise restrictions at my club field..... Kidding, of course. Looks fantastic, Chris. You said from the outset your goal was to make a scale bird that you would never question yourself on and I would say you are 110% there. Can't wait.

Thanks guys!
That's my vacuum pump in the background making some parts. Noisy little thing isn't it.
Been a long haul on this project but im inching closer to the finish. Every time I turn around there is something else to do. This has to be one of the worst planes to model. So many parts to it.
My apologies and thanks for the patience to those who have already pre ordered or that are on the list. I know you have been waiting too long but I think you will be happy with the outcome.
After testing is complete I will start taking orders again at a discounted price for the first month. Keep ya posted.
Thanks
Chris
