Dan Avila arrived today and we'll be testing the air tomorrow. Jeff Anderson is coming out too!
We'll be getting some of Ralphs toys out too! He requested a flight on the Pond Racer this year!

We're here! Arrived yesterday at about noon. A bit windy today, and cross wind to boot. So, did other stuff since we're alone at the moment. Dan is off doing "other" stuff too. ;-)

Weather is looking awsome for the rest of the week, although it might be a bit hot late week. Tomorrow looks gorgeous. Low winds and not hot. Should be good for getting the thumbs excersized!

Looking forward to seeing the rest of you later.

Yer almost right, David. Anything over 68.77 degrees is hot. But then, we Canadians have a whole different definition of cold. At 0 degrees, we put a sweater on.

Wimp. At least I'll go outside if it is hot. I might complain about it though. A bit. Then grab a cold beer.

Today was damn near perfect. High of 80, light breeze. Lovely flying weather. Too bad it took me a while to figure out I had a clogged filter... Two minutes before end of first flight noticed power was down. Engine quit on short final. No issues landing. Whew.

Don't let my photos fool you. There were a lot of guys there! I was only there for a few hours though, and I forgot to charge my camera.

There may have only been four of us there but we kept the Ricans out this year...... Perfect number of pilots, plenty of flying, best fireworks show I have ever seen (thanks Ralph!) we even had a visit from the PoPo and it wasn't me or Timmy they were after.

We were trying to give the benefit of a grass field and a paved runway all in one. If you were here you could have grabbed the weed wackier and mowed them babies down if you wanted to! :-)

THANK YOU to all who attended. We had a GREAT time and everyone made it through the storms with damage to only a couple of tents.

We look forward to seeing everyone again soon.

Thank You!!

I was there on Saturday and it was an awesome day of jet flying! I shot some video of various takeoffs and landings. Sorry for some of the shaky camera stuff.

Once you're in YouTube, you can click on the little cog wheel and change the quality to HD. Hope you enjoy!
