Default Tamjets Gear Failsafe

Can someone tell me if there are limitations to what Tam's gear failsafe can do?

I have 3 x Jetronic valves and a Jetronic Sequencer handling all the gear/doors/sequencing on my Airworld Cougar.

If I have an air leak, will this device be able to trigger the full door sequencing setup. i.e, pressure drops to the predefined value and all the doors open, gear drops and doors close??

I seem to remember someone telling me it couldn't?

Info gratefully received!

Default RE: Tamjets Gear Failsafe

Hi Mark,

Yes it can, as long as you have both doors and gear installed in the same pneumatic circuit. Also be sure to have a large tank to avoid a drastic pressure drop in the event of a leak. That would leave the doors or gear half way.

If you use separate pressure tanks for gear and doors, both should be connected to the Tams device making both as only one circuit.

Also both gear and doors have to use ONLY 1 CHANNEL
