Hi Fabio,

Can you give us the Gravity center that you used (The 2 wings are different so right side or left side of your plane because there is 2 different CG, one side for c&c model and and the other side for Fei bao ....) and the empty weight of your model?

CG is 33cm back from leading edge of left wing. Dry weight is 13,5kg. Take off weight is 17kg (more or less) . On my EFA I used the stock big fuel tank on top and other two one liter each on bottom ,placed at both sides of the nose gear bay. Due to this the plane is slightly nose heavy on takeoff but no corrections need.
Only 5 flights at this time but I can say that this plane is easy to fly , well manouvrable and capable of a very large range of speed ( fast fly and low speed landings)

Had the maiden flight today!

All went well but learned a few things.

1. Need to add the third tank. 5 min controlled flight and 1:45 in landing circuits. The main tank was empty and the single saddle tank was 3/4 to 1/2 full. I will add the 3rd tank.

2. Having the front tank drain first is a Very bad idea! When I was comming in my final turns if I got the nose up at all, the fuel would move back in the tank and I was looking at the bottom of the jet in a tail heavy situation. First 4 min of flight it was balanced very well. I will be switching the saddles to drain first and the main last.

Glad I got it down smooth and safely in a tail heavy situation. Great flying airplane!

Here the video of my literally exploded in flight Eurofighter. The model at the time of the crash was almost horizontal in flight, at very high speeds (the GPS said 245 kmph), suddenly it strayed to the right,so I gave it a little left control but without result. I could do anything, has shot up vertically, falling to ground. It became immediately clear that the right wing was opened on the leading edge of close to the fusolage, exploding . I have several photos of the Interior of the wing ... definitely bad designed as materials, bonding etc. Okay doing light models but a wing with only two balsa ribs, with few reinforcements and even less glue ... no good. I love this aircraft but I don't buy it again in the future.

My Eurofighter had not leading edge flap (slats) , it was the version with stock wing with only taileron

This thread was very helpful. My EF2000 is up and flying. Mine is a custom color scheme.
Dry weight: 15.9Kg
take-off weight about 20-21Kg depends if I fly with smoke
5 liters kero, 1.8 liters smoke oil. I have a 1-liter additional tank underneath the main tank to achieve this volume.
Turbine: Kingtech k180G
Glued off the slats.
rates and CG as per manual.
I have a Spektrum AR9020 connecting a Flex Innovations Aura8 via SRXL for stabilization. Wing, Rudder & Canard servos feed off the Aura8 directly. Flight video below

thanks very much for all the tips here. I had both RCU and RCCanada EF2000 build threads on bookmark, or better put, ‘on speed dial’. This bird flies locked in and lands easy.
