Our kits are based on our testing and for just that setup so in other planes with other setups it might differ a bit.

We fount it beeing quite east to drop 1lb of push but still very doable to keep the full power, even with a slight gain if done right.

Same engine, same pipe, just diffrent positioning

I have had this jet for several months now and love flying it with my Jetcat P20 turbine. I decided to mount the engine in the tail, thereby eliminating a thrust tube, also I mounted a 700 Ml tank over the CG and the three on-board batteries spaced so that the CG was perfect, and didn't change in flight. Flying time is about 8-9 mins and I set my timer to 7 mins with leaves around 1/2 inch of fuel in the tank. The performance is fantastic and becomes even better during flight as the fuel burns off. I have now converted four 90mm foam jets to P20 power and feel that they are a perfect combination and highly recommend this setup, if you can afford the turbine. I also added some plywood to the nose-wheel area under the steering arm and found that this stops the arm binding, sometimes during retraction. My next conversions are the Freewing F104 and Venum jets.

Some weeks ago I finished the refurbishing of an old TH Viper; put in a Kolibri T25, covered the whole plane with self adhesive film and have a lot of fun with that bird.
Here a short video:
