Wow .. absolutely stunning .. well done!

Lots of folks have tried to do tires for this plane -- none successfully so far that I know of. Hoping you succeed! I ended up with BVM F4 wheels and tires on mine .. not perfect but close .. and parts available at least for now.

Can be done ,the pylons in the picture are based on the basic parts provided by YA back in the day with lots of detailing added individually.

New ones will have to be designed from scratch to match exactly on a specific model . Just saying 1/5 won’t do here as no one has a proper scale model today so, some individual tweaking and measuring will be required from the costumer side first

Sorry meant to say, upsize to fit a 1/5 th scale hornet aka BVM. The pylons yellow provided should be scaled to match that bird at 1/7? So,
as long as you could scale them up and get close to proportional dimensions that would work for me. I realize my philosophy on our toy jets is not shared by most.

The only measurement I need is the distance between the flap line and the LE line in the area where the pylon is to be mounted . Also the pylon has the shape of the lower wing skin airfoil in that area ... it’s not totally flat ..

Aren't there any pylons available from BVM ? Because we can provide scale racks to retrofit into them ..

if it sounds and looks like a jet while in the air that’s good enough for me. I applaud the guys who desire to add 15,001 rivets to their birds in order to match subject. That’s all. So in regards to adding pylons etc as long as it’s proportionally accurate that’s fine for my taste. Additionally, shaping mounting surface can be accomplished with a thin layer of glazing putty or aeropoxy etc.
