Take a deep breath Vin. You already have 2 Nazi jets and only one American jet.

Here is a link to a flight of the kit, somewhere in Europe, click on the 2nd sentence on He162. The video is less than optimum and he overshoots the runway after a nice landing

Sorry to be a pest...I don't read German so can you post the link to the kit mfg. Is the wing and motor nacelle all one assembly?
Thanks
Vin...

There is no link to the kit designer. He is an independent modeler who happened to build all the molds for this kit. The wing is one piece composite with separate flaps and ailerons. There is a nice cockpit kit which comes with the kit. Yes there is a big nacelle that is molded from fiberglass that sits above the fuse to house the turbine. Preformed rudders also included. It is a builders kit for sure with no instructions on how to make and fit a turbine, it is left up to the builder.
I have an email in to the kit designer to see if it would be OK to provide his email. I honestly don't know if he is interested in going thru the process of making and shipping any more kits to USA. Shipping a one piece fuselage to the States from Germany with all the other parts was not inexpensive. It was well packaged with no damage.

Hi Guys,
I am happy to see that I am not allown in this this nice Salamander world.
In 2008 I had the chance to get one of the first Maissinger He162 kits.

To build the plane costs a bit more time in comparison to a CARF plane, but the advantage is, you got a very rare bird.
If you concider the right CG, you will have a lot of fun.

Regards
Dirk
