Ok, I'm receive by YT International the big box with new Pantera Jet. The first impression it's very good with a precise finish and nice livery.
The moving part have already applied but not glued: for the quote rudder the hinges are in synthetic fabric and need to replacements immediately.

Pantera Jet is Length: 2220mm (87.5") with wingspan: 1701mm (67") and it's a model ideal for turbines from 18-20lb (8-9 kg) thrust. The fuselage is in composite material and the wings and tailplane wood with shrink film covered with decorations already applied.

The cone in front of the model is removable: in this compartment must be insert the batteriy for better centering of the model. In these second version of the Panera Jet the compartments of gears have been formed directly into the fuselage for not to weaken the wings...

For my kit I also bought the original YT electric gear retract for these model. Three machines very good for building and look with legs in aluminum to CNC machined. This kit does not include the brakes but they are just available from YT International. Aldo the wheels are in aluminum. Total weight (retract, well and struts for tre gear its 1.085g. The retract have a dedicate controller with only 1 cable to connected to RX.

The model has the lower door and the canopy very large for a simply access for component installation. I weighed the various components of the model and the result was 6.785 grammi (including bayonets and linkage).
I tried to simulate an assembly with servos, batteries, P100RX turbine, servo extension, kero tank, uat, festo and tubes and my prevision is total weight dry about 10,5kg.

I went ahead with the assembly. The kit is already in good condition prefabrication standard but there are a few things to take: forage and insertion of the centering pins of wings and tailplane, holes for cable gear and cable servo wing in the ordinate of the fuselage, opening air inlet, open hole for servos (in the kit are including cover in plywood). I started from these works. For the pin holes on the fuselage and in the wing (and tailplane) there are reference mask to be entered with the bayonet mount (see photos)...

I went ahead with the work by fixing aileron, flap and quote and glue cover of hole retract... I glue all hinges with epoxy.
A note I have to do about horizontal tail: they should be in position by the two wooden pins and central bayonet. The kit not provided any type of locking screws, etc.. (for the wings there are two screws). For this reason, and because the size of the model is not particularly large, I proceeded to block with epoxy the horizontal tail. I consider this solution good and safety without compromising the portability of the model.

Hello to all!
I have do some work on my new Panther. Starting with the fixing of the canopy and the Turbine cover. For the turbine cover in the pictures you can see the wood reinforcements that I glued and where go the four screws to fixyng. Work easier and faster. For the canopy the first work is glued the wood reinforcement in the front (wood half-moon included in the kit). After need glue in the rear of canopy the hook (included in kit with the wooden dowel already drilled). For best fixing I also added in the front of canopy one carbon pin because the canopy had too much play (see photo). In this way it is firmly.

The work on the moving parts is almost complete. I glued in position all vetronite brackets (included in the kit) from epoxy and I proceeded to glue on the covers of the servos compartments the wooden blocks (in the kit) where srew the servos.
I recommend you check very well all gluing. I will apply under the servos also a double-sided tape to have more leaks.
Per i servi ho scelto Savox 12309SG Titaniul for flaps, steering and rudder; Graupner DES 678 MG BB for aileron and quote.

Fixing the tip cone.
I put the wood reinforcement in the cone and after applying a little hot glue. Now I have put the cone in position in the fusolage. Ater 3 minuts I have unthread cone in epoxy and wood reinforcement remained in place. I drilled the hole four bolts and the cone it's finish in position. After I have drill also four holes to attach the cone to the fuselage with 4 screws. For a better seal is necessary glue inside the fusolage the wood reinforcements (already provided in the kit.) And you're done!
