I'm one of the people that go way back, pre-2002. I can adapt to almost anything. I just don't understand why most administrators think 'change' is required. It was working pretty well the way it was if you ask me. I'll figure out the details of this setup.... and then of course it will change....

Happy to give you lessons - here is a video I made this morning to show how easy it is.

I am growing to dislike change as much as the next guy. I guess it is inevitable with change. With that being said, there were some things that seemed awkward or hard to navigate at first. It took all of 15min to go through some settings, send in a friendly trouble ticket, and be on my way to using the site with the new format.
There are stil things to learn and some bugs to be worked out, but I appreciate progress and the time and effort it takes to make progress happen.
Personally I like some of the new features regarding graphics/picture uploads. They seem easier to see or make full size or full screen. They are also easier to get into a post, and you get to see the pics in the post before you hit send.
My home screen looks a little odd, but I haven't put the effort in to find out why yet. I can live with it until I get through this God Forsaken project at work that's requiring 75+ hrs/week to complete.
If something is not working for you, send in a trouble ticket or find a mod online. They are good guys who want to help and really want us to all enjoy this place as much as possible.
Hang in there!

Also don't forget how many issues there were with trying to upload pics, the site taking forever to load, sometimes not loading at all...
I was under the impression that the site was getting an overhaul to fix those issues, and included some new features along with it.
I for one am glad I am not looking at a tiny green screen on top of a giant beige box with no outside connectivity and no input for a (joystick?). There are reasons for keeping with the times.

Still trying to get used to the new layout.
But, the Thread Information with the users browsing a particular thread really should be at the top and not the bottom of the thread. Really not convenient to have to scroll all the way to the bottom to see that bit of information.
And the users location should come back too, as that is a nice feature.
Maybe its my computer but the smiles have lost their details, now look all faded over like what Yahoo's look like.
- detail seems hard to make out.

Overall it is an upgrade, it is not crashing, I don't have the cookies and browser issues that some have had, and I can find content fairly easy...still getting use to it...but it needs some tweaking on the colors for sure.

I use Safari on a Mac and I still have to refresh the page every time go back to the forum list after viewing a thread. I have deleted all cookies and logged out and back. Somehow it is remembering an old page when returning to the forum list. Am I the only one with this problem?

I use a Mac with Windows installed and I don't have any of the problems others are reporting, except for some very spurious notifications, once they are received I just go to that thread and cancel my subscription that I never had.

Each time I edit an ad ,just for a minor change , I lose all of the text in the item discription , and have to retype the whole thing. Is it just my system, or is everyone else having the same problem ? RC
