Dented my Xcal and tore right wing off and broke both booms. 100% pilot error, not flaring it off enough and allowing it to bounce, then hit runway side marker.
Funny enough, the fuse and left wing got away without a single scratch - literally.
Has anyone any idea as on where one could get a new set of wings and booms in sport yellow ?
I'd hate to write it off after merely 60 flights...

Dave,
what exactly do you mean by that ?
I just wish to know if i'll be able to get the parts or will i be forced to write-off. Waiting is not a problem, ie i am aware of it...

Ok, it’s been about 7 months now since I got the X back with damage, after completing the Kingcat’s refurbishment and maiden flight about a month ago, I worked on something easy ( GP Cherokee brand new, maiden to be done when we get a dry day )
I was in the garage looking at what should I work next and the X jumped right in front of everything ( I do have lots of projects and repairs to work on 😬 )
And here we go, should be ready in about a couple of months ( hope so 😁 )
First was to remove all the internals ( 7 months ago ) tonight, I glue the cracks on the fuse using thin CA to start with, next is to add fiberglass patches to the inside of the cracks then fix the outside of the damaged spots, I don’t do painting, my friend will have to do that, then some bulkheads will have to be replaced, will be adding some Hysol here and there.
Correction on the time line, it has been over two years since the mishap.

I replaced the broken fork ( thank you Johnboy2 for it ) the nose strut needed a new pin, made one, had the release pin size for it already and found a small bent on the nose gear pin track, no sweat, a little filing and it should work as normal, will order some part from GJC this week.
