So the only way to order a plane from Hubert, is to email him?
No web site...how about prices?

Well, I mailed him, and got a fast reply.

Hello Hubert.
Are you the builder of the Virus speed delta ?
If you make them, How much are you asking for one ?
Can you ship it to Denamrk ?
Best regards, Sonnich Johannesen

Hallo Sonnich,
yes I build the virus the price of one is 700 + shipment
include are the 2 x 1l bottle tanks + 2 Servos.
I cut out the elastic flaps and the service window (is also useable as
speedbreak)
Do you like it for pulsejet or for turbine ?
I can built it also with a cavity for turbine (same price)
I think Denmak is no problem, because I sent it also to Australia, Brasil,
USA ......
best regards
Hubert

Hello Hubert
Thanks for the fast reply, and the good news
It is one of my friends who likes to fly speed that is interested in the
Virus.
He has had an Inferno before, but it unfortunatly had an accident
once...they do not last for ever
My friend ask`s if it can be bought withot servos, as he allready has alot
of 8511 and 8911 servos lying around.
He will install a simjet 3000 in it, so it will need the turbine cavity
please.
Can it be made in red gelcoat color ?
Do you accept paypal for payment ?
Thanks, regards, Sonnich

Hallo Sonnich,
without servos is no problem.
Red gelcoat is not possible, it can be basic white, yellow, or neon
orange.
paypal is possible. The delta wing is made in glas / herex / carbon cevlar
sandwich.
The virus is faster than the inferno (I have also a mould of the
inferno).
I fly both models with turbine and with pulsejet.
without servos it is cheaper 640 € + shipment.

I have see one of these planes in a video clip simply cartwheel in a field and suffer almost no damage ....

A skyrunner 300+ will cost from AirWorld 700 euros ...

Now if we can just get the AMA to allow a modern current production pulse jet.....

My personal opinion, I am no longer putting the HK PJ in the modern current production category.

Yes the HK construction of the tail pipe is of quiet a low standard .

Production of the OS and Bailey Jets that I have seen which were both over 20 years old were far superior ..

Something to watch while I wat for mine to arrive

The ramp is the easy part to figure out.
What I never see mentioned is how much of what size bungee cord is needed and how much stretch to put on it.

On the other video that the same guy posted he said that he has 20 kilo preload, and stretches it to 80-100 kelo.

WOW. 44 lbs preload and 176-220 lbs pull. I would have never guessed that high.
5 strands of 12mm bungee cord x 33 feet long.

That does seem like a lot of pull. With that much pull, you wouldn't want the stake to come out of the ground.

no, I think it will be too weak for this plane.....to be any fun.
1,6kg thrust is not much.

Hello guys!
How are you?
Its been a long time since I am trying to find a reliable, serious (and cheap lol) factory to buy a 90-100mm pulse jet.
I read a lot about frauds trying to buy a Virus, Inferno or some speed delta. People who send the money and never see the product...
It seems that Hubert is the man. He has the official web page of Days of Speed and Thunders. But I did not contact him yet.
Somebody knows the price of a 90er pulso? I am planning to build the plane, so I will only need the pulso..

Happy flying!

It depends on the efflux. A Kolibri T15 making 1.9kg can make a plane this size go atleast 250km/h, probably more. If the efflux of a pulsejet equals a turbine the 1.6kg of thrust would be equal to the double in an EDF, 3.2kg. 700watt/kg of thrust would result in a 2.3kW setup. Which must be enough for this flimsy airframe
