Default SeBart Avanti ????

Looking at getting a SeBart Avanti. It looks reall good but so do Fly Eagle Jets and I dont want any of those.

Looking for some input please.
Thanks

Sorry about the thumbs down on the title, but I cant seem to remove it. I have no idea how it got there. I had it originally at the end of the fly eagle sentance.

Be careful about replacing the springs with stronger ones, this has the effect of making the main gear legs longer. This gives the jet a negative angle of attack
I used the Tygon fix on mine & the next take off was a real scare. The jet just would not lift off the runway. Just as the end of the runway approached, full up elevator saved the day & it jumped into the air.
I quickly removed the Tygon.
If you replace the springs, consider lengthening the nose leg.

Jim the springs we have come up with still allow the struts to,sag but don't completely bottom out. So there is some travel left to absorb a bump on takeoff or landing. My avanti with stock springs bottomed out with no fuel in it. These springs we have installed work great and no issues with it popping off.

Nice plane and radio. Been looking closely at the Jeti for glider and jet stuff. The telemetry system is very advanced. Some guys up here have been playing with them. Enjoy the Avanti...mine goes up for the first time next week!
