Have you found any issues with it, any updates or modifications? Still using the 312mm cg position? Control movements, mixers and measurements still as originally stated in the manual and on here?

Thanks,

JanR

Good to hear guys - from what I can gather, we've only had three of these come in to Aussie. So there may still be two flying here (somewhere), but definitely none anywhere near me.

Very much a unique flying object, but I guess too expensive for most.

Cheers,

JanR

There is a Canadian site that covered the build of 4 Diamonds. All are flying great with a very minor modifications to the stock set up.

Hi do you do the cg with the gears down or up? I made the cg with the recommendation 312mm and for some reason it fell like slightly nose heavy and I don’t remember if when I did the cg I did it with the gears down or up just wanted to make sure that and do the cg one more time with new batteries thanks again.

I realize that this thread has been slow lately but I recently sold my gold mini and I'm moving up to this bad boy!!! She'll be powered by a Merlin 200XBL. It should be a fun winter build

I've made some progress. I've had to wait on shipments of various items so things should pick up The following has been completed:
1.Removed and changed out some of the rear fuselage decals (removed Jetcat and Hvp modell and replaced with Igryo, Jets Munt, Jeti)
2. Installed front clip with retract and painted the assembly
3. Painted the servo covers
4. Painted the two fuel tanks along with the smoke tank.

I purchased it from CMJ Tanks. It takes about a month to get one. Just follow the link:

I recently finished mine with a Star Wars color scheme and I also did couple cool things which I will post pictures later on quick removal of the vertical fin tube and a quick access to the nose piece for charging the batteries.

Great, I can't wait to see your detailed pics. I've already duplicated some of Sysiek's good ideas!

The good news about this jet is that if there is a mishap you can get replacement parts from the factory that are an exact fit.

I love my Diamond

Finally completed the tail. I want to thank Sysiek for the great tail mods. I shamelessly stole them all and they work great! I will do this on future jets!!!!! On to the wings

Make sure that you soak the wood with thin ca glue so they don’t shrink or expand doing the summer temperature jumps and the wood doesn’t crack in the middle,I’m very happy that someone actually you said something about my ideas ,did you used the wooden sink to glue the elevators carbonfiber rots.

I never said that this was my idea but I’m probably the first one to use it in the diamond building 😀 so the credit goes to Joe and the project realization to me😁.
