There are no best turbines. Most of the major brands have good and not so goods experiences. Performance is very close. Service is a differentiation. Check what your local turbine flyers are using and their experiences.
Mine are great with Jet Central.
Good luck.

If the jet going to be twin power avoid magnetic rpm sensors the like to read each other rpms my bad expiriance ,could end up with internal fire or usually one turbine go liner and hotter shorter life of the components ,if single go big 300 size and the only two on the market .

The bottom line really is it has to be the best one for you. I personally feel there is no better turbine in the world than AMT, but I'm willing to deal with the bigger size and heavier weight in order to get the huge service intervals and the fact that they never wear out. Most people however want compact and light. That's fine and I am the only guy in my area that flies AMT so I need to be my own expert with those engines. If this is your first turbine the BEST turbine will be the one that the majority of jet modelers in your area already fly so that if you have any issues at least you have a support group to help you with any issues. The best turbine doesn't necessarily have the best price, best warranty, best Power to Weight ratio etc, the best turbine is the one that will work for you with the least headaches. There are a couple manufactures I wouldn't fly if the engines were given to me but I suppose that is due to my personal experiences either with the physical engines or with the company themselves.
At the end of the day, I had success with my first engines (RAM750's) because there was great support more or less locally that I could turn to.

Not "Twine" (string) sorry couldn't resist

Although a Twine powered Turbine might be interesting

Currently the only manufacture who can support twin turbine telemetry (turbine 1 and turbine 2) is Xicoy ECU. I would not run a twin setup without telemetry. This way I know if one engine is out and I can program the conditions to kick in automatically (or manually) in the event of one flame out...

Enjoy...

I would recommend King Tech. I was a jetcat guy for years...poor service, and issues with every one I owned. Tried King Tech 3 seasons ago, and that's all I have now. Priced right, run great, and Barry Hou has been incredible with service! For the $, they are hard to beat!

Pratt and Whitney. Just have to find a model that will handle 90,000 lbs thrust.
