It is under investigation and number one on the techs list.
The marketplace is a separate entity with access to the RCU members list.
Something screwy but non trivial; is making this happen.

What worries me now is my internet provider says my e-mail password was compromised, someone tried to change it. Of course they contacted me and shut the account down until I verified who I was. Not sure if this is coincidence or not but it has never happened before!

Several weeks ago I responded to a Wanted to Buy ad here on RCU. The guy was looking for a Waco kit. I replied, but never heard from him. The next day a strange pop-up box showed up (on my 6 year old Vista HP desktop).
I got rid of it, but too late! I had a nasty virus that pretty much took over the computer. It wrecked my Norton anti-virus (yes it was up to date). I googled the problem, downloaded a fix, and the virus killed that, killed my internet connection and took about two thirds of the start up programs off the list. I did what I could, but the more I things I tried, the less my computer worked.
I ended up reformatting the hard drive. I didn't lose much, since I back up to an external drive on a regular basis, but I decided not to keep using the computer, even after the reformat.
This could have been a coincidence. The virus could have come from elsewhere, but I doubt it.

Guys,
The issue has been resolved. It happened during normal scheduled maintenance of the email servers. All that happened was a number of past emails being resent when one of the servers was rebooted without the services running on it being stopped first.
No ones account has been compromised and this did not happen because of the actions of a hacker. We apologize for the inconvenience but rest assured, neither your information or the site have been compromised in any way.
