Default Heat Shield for aft fuselage in Eurosport?

I recently picked up a used Eurosport and had read somewhere that there was a recommendation to use heat shield (tape or paint on) in the aft fuselage because the pipe was creating excessive heat in that area for some folks. All extensions and pneumatic tubing are already covered. Does anyone have experience with this, and what is your recommendation?

If the area in the back is overheating, the problem is the pipe. Adding heat shfundamentally wtongll only hide the defect. Heat shield purpose is in case of a major pipe failure or a fire in the back.

If the pipe is not keeping the inside of the fuselage cool, there is something fundamentally wrong. The outter pipe should be safe to touch with engine running.

On my last Euro, I did put a thin metal sheet between the pipe and the fuselage. It helped a lot to keep the fuselage cool. The sheet had about 1/2 inch standoffs.
