We ended up with 38 registered pilots for our inaugural event. Thanks to all that attended! It was sunny with temps in the upper 70's/low 80's and light/variable winds all weekend. PERFECT!
Congrats to the pilot's raffle prize winners and the following award winners:
Best Sport Performance: Jose Melendez ... he kept the Ultimatun sport jet (and Viper Jet) rocking the entire event. I think the throttle is on a two way switch!
Best Scale Performance: Greg Arnette ... the Yak-130 is awesome and I think he burnt 30 gallons of fuel through it!
(Honorable mentions to MattyMatt with his large Futura and Mike Saleeby with his Hawker Hunter.)
Pilots Choice Award (voted by the registered pilots): Jeff Stubbs ... the new Hawk was awesome and it is great to see his peers recognize his efforts over the past few months. Very deserving! Congrats on the award and the Hawk, Jeff!
We look forward to planning Tiger Meet 2016 and hope that everyone that attended will spread the word that our 2700' long grass runway is indeed "jet friendly"!

I think I can speak for Bob and George that we had a great time at the event. The field and facilities are great. To be able to call a place like that your home field is only a dream for many of us. To the entire crew I/we say thanks for putting on a great friendly event.

Jamie and all Flying Tigers,
Many thanks to you and all the Flying Tigers for a great weekend. I burned 15 gals with two jets. Lots of flights and no repairs. It was an outstanding weekend. I have it marked on the calendar for next year already.
Thanks to all for a great weekend.
