First Annual October Jet Meet in SC!!
Jet flying is coming back to SC in Oct 2015!
Mark your calendars! The Flying Tigers RC Club near Lake City, SC will be holding its first annual "Tiger Meet" on October 23 - 25.

- Jet friendly 150'x 2700' smooth, level grass runway with wide open flying space.
- AMA Sanctioned.
- Prepaid parking spots with 30A power service will be available.
- Prepaid tent rentals will be available.
- Free WIFI.
- RVs and campers welcome.
- Clubhouse with full kitchen and bathroom.shower
- Large hangar for overnight jet storage.
- Jet A for sale on site.
- Pilots fee $40.

We had a great weekend at our informal jet meeting at Tiger Field over the past few days. Around 15 jet pilots and a lot of Jet-A burned! Looking forward to our first annual "Tiger Meet" in late October. Please see info above and mark your calendars to make plans to attend! More info on reserved tent rentals and 30A powered parking spots to come.

Guys the folks are first class there. I had a 5 hour drive and I wish it was only 1 because this would be my home field. Great place to fly. They want to have a great event and they are going to great lengths to make sure that everyone has fun. The food is awesome. It was really neat field the way it's set up. Also really cool to have Wi-Fi. They even have a computer there that you can use if you need upload or download anything.

Had a great week at this informal jet together. Awesome field. For those with campers/motor home, having 30 amp service right behind the pits is wonderful. The free wi-fi is great, fast and strong. The hospitality was excellent. The runway is excellent, nice and long, flat and well groomed with a wide open overflight area.
Thanks to Jamie, Tony, Joel and the rest of the Flying Tigers RC Club crew for letting us stay there the entire week. We had a blast!

I have flown at this field before. What a great group of guys who go over and above to make sure their guest have a good time. True southern hospitality. Good luck with the event.

Glad we were able to attend the informal jet rally. Could not ask for better group of guys. Thanks Jamie, Tony, Joel, Frank and many others at the Flying Tigers Club. Everybody made us feel right at home. The runway is long and smooth, the airspace is open, facilities are great, people are inviting, what else can you ask for. See you in October.

OK, guys. Tent rental information is attached. We have a number of options that should suit most everyone, from free parking (pitch your own tent, use your own generator) to 20x40 tent with power and 30A RV service. If nothing meets your needs get in touch with me and we can work something out.
Our general plan is to have tents and trailers on the flight line and RV's in the RV Park, but as long as your rig fits within the 50' space behind your tent then we will work with you to meet your request.
A pilots dinner on Saturday night and free-wifi is included with the pilots fee.
Tent location on flight line will be on a first come first served basis. Let me know what you want and then we will arrange for payment offline. You must pre-pay for the tent and power option but not the pilots fee.
