One of the things that there is no real answer to is if you travel to JP in a decent car and if it rains that field they park you in is very difficult to get off and it will certainly mess up your car. Perhaps an answer is to leave your car in the town and get a taxi to the event. Or even take a bike and cycle from the town to the event (Who would want to cycle up those hills though. OK on the way back however )

Also making first trip, other things at this time of year have always got in the way. Taking the wife and the FJR1300 on a four day trip, so looking forward to meeting guys that are on the forums and companies that I have dealt with in Europe

I wonder if CARF will bring the new SU-27/30 and fly it. That would be good to see here on RCU.

If you get fed up spending all your money at Jet power you can always go to the Nurburgring and do a lap in the hired car. Did this the last time I was over and it was good fun and its only 1Hrs drive.

The Vixen that you have seeing around is pushed by a Jet Central Rhino SP (45Lb).

I'm looking for some help from a UK based jet fan for Jetpower this year, my normal helper is unable to attend this year and its very hard to manage the show/stand by oneself.

I live in Hampshire and will be driving in a van to the event leaving very early on the 16th September, arriving at the event shortly after lunch time. Once on site the stand is erected, this is a two person job and takes around 3 hours.

I'm looking for a helper who can man the stand (with breaks naturally) with myself for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and then help dismantle the stand and return home late Sunday night/early Monday morning.

I will cover hotel, meals, event passes etc and naturally if the helper wants goods or a jet shipped back to the UK I can provide this FOC too with the van.

PM me if you might be able to help.

Hey Marc,

Wow......going to Jet Power 2015 and helping you out almost makes it worth buying a round trip ticket from the States to do so!

Lucky person who ends up doing so.

Good point.
Maybe I'll do the trade stands on Friday and go back for the fireworks on Saturday.

In the mornings there are plenty of 'trade' vans arriving at the show ground, I would certainly be happy to give a lift to a couple of people up to the show ground so they can avoid parking in the field - best place to wait is just off the curved slip road where the 'track' starts up to the show area.

Only warning is we arrive early in the mornings, 7.30am or so but good to get up there have a coffee and chat and catch up before the main arrivals...

PM if you are interested.

Maybe its because of Winnies involvement at the WJM but I have been periodically checking on the JP site to find the trade stand list and so far not back up,I like to see who is there so I can plan my spending!, It's getting close now so it would be nice to know what's new on the scene.

The flying program is listed already. Traders with lots to show have 15 minutes to fly their products, others share 15 mins. Winnie did not attend the JWM which was a real shame.
The trade list is pretty unchanged other than Wren not going and Ripmax coming for the first time to display Futaba and Xcalibur's
