Default FEJ Sports Jet

I post this request with some trepidation as my search for information has indicated that these jets are not well received.

None the less, A friend has brought me one to put together for him, which I will be doing very carefully, So I hope someone may be able to help me out. The jet is large with a fuselage length of 2.7mts.

I am looking for the instruction manual for this jet. The FEJ website asks you to email for the download. I have asked but no luck.

Can any one let me know where I can download it from.

Thank you

Warwick

The amount of negativity in this forum against FEJ is unbelieveable.

Well, since they are still falling out of the sky, I think it's still prudent to warn people to stay away from them. One of their large Hawks went down again last week due to a structural tail failure. Complete loss for the owner. These things are still dangerous and still pose a hazard to the jet community.

I'm a little confused about why your friend didn't give you the instruction manual that came with the jet. Or ... maybe an instruction manual did not come with the jet? Either way - it's odd.

Yikes
The FEJ Quandary. Do you "help" your friend by assembling an FEJ time bomb, or do you Help your friend by putting his perfectly good turbine and radio in an airframe that will not fail and is not banned at many jet meets.
Hmmmm

A member of my club assembled one of these & ran a thread on RCU:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-j...ports-jet.html

I know nothing about the model & never saw it fly but the thread might be worth a read.

Thanks for all the comments which are noted.. Fortunately I will not be flying it and it will be over open desert.

I looked through the thread Boomerang1, seems there are differences between the his and mine.

At the moment my issue is that when I put the turbine on the rails the turbine is half and inch off centre.

I appreciate the comments

Thanks all
