Sounds like 757s need to be equipped with those engines. If they can ingest parts of wing and missle and start back up then a quadcopter should be no problem.

It doesn't seem too bad, at least not nearly as much as the Israeli F-15 that lost an entire wing in a mid air collision and still made it back to base.

oh wow! What a blast to the past. I modelled this exact plane about 12 years ago. I even tried contacting the pilot back then to give him this model, but that was a no go for obvious reasons back then. Perhaps now

Vettster: That model looks pretty great!

I know some guys from the A-10 community and have access to folks who have access to databases (as do others here probably). If you want help getting in touch with that pilot, just let me know in a PM.

I modeled my A-10 after one that was shot up and flown by female pilot, Captain Kim Campbell (aka "Killer Chick"). I originally decided to do the scheme because I had "won" a female Blue Box pilot figure and it was the only A-10 I could find with a female pilot associated with it.

I always though it would be interesting for her to see my model of her A-10 but never pursued it.

Vettster, I am very close to having located the pilot "PJ" Johnson for you. Another PM momentarily.
