It resembles a Ziroli Turbinator

I like the project, will you be offering the plans in AutoCAD or DXF format?

Your name is interesting also, it has a whole different meaning in the USA...

I don't know much but I know that there is a need for a beginner jet to compete with the falcon 120 / Navy Cat I know a lot of guys who go that direction but hate the fact the wings comeing off are such a pain, but the prices is low so that's the way most new guys go.

So what class turbine does a "beginner jet" employ these days? I'm guessing the beginners are looking for sub-$500 ARF type packages, but would prefer something on the order of the Turbinator platform:
1) Breaks into 2 or 3 pieces at most
2) Easy access to turbine and no tailpipe
3) Lightweight, slow flying
4) Pre-finished with only assembly left

OK for points 2 and 3.

The purpose is to make a easy flyng jet but for beginner in jet model, not for beginner in aeromodelling.

We like building and designing our models.
We don't look for models almost finished..

I'm 57 years old, my first model made 48 years ago.
I don't like kit almost ready to fly.

It is not always good to use the plans of somebody else, I prefer to use my drawings.
It is inspired by Turbinator, but it is not a copy.

Uranus is the name of the god of the sky in Latin.

Nice project. Please let us in on more! And donīt let those Americans bully you, Uranus is a fine name in Swedish. But by the way, the name of the god is Tor, actually.

Ok
New name : Alpana
Thanks to the efforts of the Regional Natural reserve of Corsica ( P.N.R.C). And the existence of the reserve of Scandola, this remarkable sort(species) passed of 4 couples in 1970 in practically 35 nowadays. Greenhouses capable of capturing the most slippery preys and a sharp vision make of this bird of prey for the white body and for the darkened wings a formidable fisherman! It is the diurnal bird of prey which feeds - you will have understood it - exclusively of fishes.

We Americans are glad you changed the name. The humor was there to save you embarrassment and your investment. If nothing was said although crude in our approach, it would have been worse once it hit the market.

And my questions are truy academic and probing in nature. Well, I probably shouldn't have used the word "probing" in this thread... My nose hurts from the coffee, but I'm humored.

But seriously - is there any market for "kits" or the old classic jet in state of finish like Yellow used to put out, except with formers installed? It would seem to me that with the proliferation of CNC and laser cutting there could be a healthy cottage industry on the verge. Just a thought. I, myself prefer kits.

BTW, the basic proprotions are good; it'll fly well I'm sure.

I have been looking for a good kit to build, it is a shame that society has come to expect instant gratification with all of the ARF's... I do understand that not all people have time to build any more; however, in my opinion there is no substitute for hands on experience.

Anyone who has never build a kit from scratch may be missing a fun and rewarding experience...

BTW, no bullying from me either, just poking some good fun.... maybe "poking" is the wrong word here... dang.... I did it again
