First off I really like your custom scheme, that looks so good 👍

Great job flying those nice slow rolls and point rolls, lots of finesse there.

I like your lights too 🙂

Received my Unilights today, tested them out before mounting them and have to say so far I'm pretty happy. Should be able to really start making some progress now that I can finish up the wiring with the lights.

Hi guys. How you take care of the fuel system in your jet after the season. Will it be enough to just drain the fuel from the fuel system? Are you using a fuel stabilizer?
I pour a fuel stabilizer in my 3D acrobats before the last flight. I'll do the last flight and then I'll drain all the fuel from the fuel system.
How do you do this in turbines. ***winter***

Our winter are pretty long as well......I treat my fuel..summer or winter for algae, for the winter I empty the tank....as much as I can....always have some fuel remaining and keep the UAT full.....just like after any flying day/weekend....

I always do some maintenance during the winter....which at one point I will be emptying the uat so I can disconnect the fuel tank and have a look inside, inspect the line ect.....then reassemble and fill the uat again ready for the next season....

the first run is at home to make sure everything is running well.....then it’s ready..

-So, exhaust everything.
-Keep the UAT full of fuel even in the winter months when it is not flying.
-Drain the UAT before the season to check the tank and lines.
-Refuel the UAT, refuel the tank, perform an engine test on the ground.
-If everything is ok, it can go into the air.
Did I get that right? ***winter***

OK thanks. Unfortunately, it is not available on the European market. Shipment from the USA goes in Covid at the time of the month. I will try to find a similar product on the European market. ***winter***

What are you guys using for clunk line inside the tanks? I've ordered several different sizes of Viton from McMaster-Carr because that's what I'd prefer to use but the metric stuff is only 1mm sidewall thickness and I think it could collapse. What size are you guys using?

This is what I order depending on size of turbine, 1/8, 3/16, or 1/4" ID with 1/16" wall thickness.

Awesome thank you, so for a 160 would you order the 1/4” or 3/16” ID?

My rule of thumb is 1/8" ID up to 160N, 3/16" ID up to 220N and 1/4" ID over 220N. Just my preference mostly based on reference to Oli's fuel systems blog. I've done 160N and 180N on 1/8" with no problems years ago but today I wound recommend 3/16" for 160 to 180N. Just my opinion.

He says the best engine is a 160 type. He also mentions anything below that will not perform well.
He will use a Merlyn 210! Wow!

Putting a 160 in mine as well. I saw one fly with a 160 a couple weeks ago and was really happy with how it flew.

To appreciate the difference in flight, you must have flown with a powerful engine
Very good explanation of how to build a t-one in milliamp

I a 140 in mine because it’s an early one and I was afraid to have a pipe problem, that happen with the first few example....and frankly now I don’t any reason to change it to a 160.....

I use KT140G2. I think it's the ideal power / weight ratio.
According to the PowerBox GPS, the speed of the model is 296 km / h. If I focus on reaching the maximum speed, reaching a speed of 300 km / h should not be a problem. ***winter***
