Couple shots from this weekend.. The T-Bird maiden went as planned.. CG was moved back from 230 location. Not sure what its at now but I'm guessing with the way it fly's its about 235-240

Another great T-1. photos of flight will be posted soon, The smoke is amazing...

Im getting a bit more comfortable with mine.. Inverted flight is effortless.....

So I traced my air leak to the noes gear. It is only when in the up position it looses air. So it's the up line to the cylinder.

I reset the hoes onto the nipple so I don't think it's leaking there. That only leaves the cylinder. So I'm looking for advise as to how to proceed. Pulling the noes gear is a major job but I will if I need to. Thoughts?

I remember i3dm saying he had a cyilender slow leak!

Factory has been advised about this issue and will check it.
Wonder if this is what I have, and if thisvwill fix it!

I'm going over the entire fram checking and tightening. My fin did come loos last time I was out flying. I did put locktite on it when I assembled it but the threads are loos (not a tight tap). So I just check it every flight. The other thing that I need to fix is the tap on the noes cone. It is very loos and it won't hold when pressure is applied, again the tap is bigger then the treads on the bolt so I need to put some tefflone tape on it or put a new blind bolt in. Otherwise everything is looking good.

i3dm, Here are some gear shots plus more flight photos of the T-Bird with smoke.

The nose door is mounted with one offset hinge.

I put as much as the hinge would allow before it started to bind. I don't think you can have to much throw on the elevator. I have been flying on high rates and like it there. I did not measure!

Yo will notice the difference in the wind when landing.. That's where it shines the most. I will always use a cortex in all my aircraft. The stability you get from it is amazing.

Smoke would be cool and I don't have that on my KingCat now but want smoke on the next jet. Smoke looks addictive....
