I bought the servo arm package deal Dirk has on his site. I usually use SWB but these seem nice as well.

I went with brushless Savox for the control surfaces and 1270ís for flaps.

Still waiting on the airframe, all I can do is look at the rest of the parts lol.

Just started mine today. Took care of the fuselage half by using the blue locktite.

How did you guys secure that front nose piece to the fuse? I donít see 6 Allen type bolts. I see 5 but not 6.

I like this color scheme. It is easy to see. I have it in production. I can see that the wings are ready for the lights. Is there any other lighting accessories. ***winter***

All I used was Servo screws the black plate is glued to the nose part....I have since then stop using the additional battery, made a small Harness to used #2 Battery..build 2017/18

I never used loctite with blind nuts....I used a bonded washer, start using long ago on gas plane...they are called crush washer I think..

PPG DBC base coat with PPG 2021 clear coat. But you can use any type of 2k clear. No lacquer paint used. I donít believe Pacific jets uses lacquer. The clear they use is hard 2k type. Dirk might know more. Itís definitely great paint they are using. I was able to apply the PPG clear and melt into the original paint using my final coat of clear reduced considerably. 4 to 1 reduced to clear final melt. My paint supplier has PPG, RM(BASF) and a lower cost base coat. I am just used to using PPG stuff. Take the hatch to the automotive paint store and they will match it using an electronic type device. The silver, red and white were extremely close. Good luck.
they might have the ability to fill cans for you. My paint store does. Honestly, I went in to get the spray type custom mix base coats and 2k clear. They were out of the cans. I used my paint gun.
1. Get the paint matched.
2. Ask them to fill into aerosol cans
3. Get the 2k clear gloss. 2k is urethane clear, with activator built in.

I see you put a Swiwin in her
Have you flown it yet or have an all up weight? I'm looking for a summer project and am deciding between this and a Rebel Classic.
The PnP features of the T1 are attractive, and it's slightly larger than the classic, but size for size I think the Rebel will be significantly lighter, being painted in the mold, and purchasing is less painful, in that you only need a 50% deposit, and typical time between order and to your door is around 10-14 weeks if you go the container route, and only around $100 for shipping. 4 weeks less if you do EMS shipping. Whereas having to pay in full for the T1 and also having to wait significantly longer to get it is a little harder to swallow.
Decisions, decisions. I can't really hold the order prices against the jet, though, as I don't need it now. I think how it's finishing out, weight wise, will be my deciding factor.

They can build light or heavy.....it’s all in the selection of parts and what you want to stuff inside any jet......the quality of T-One model is superior to CARF any day of the week. Better paint, better wood, better hardware......all usable.

I have a Rebel HOT, and personally, prefer the painted in mold look, as it is completely smooth(no high spots at paint trim lines). It is also lighter. I am very happy with the overall quality, but I've seen the T1 close up and it's nice, too.
Been scrolling through the thread and only found one eight report of 30lbs.
I have a predator 2.2m at 29lbs less main tank fuel and a 170 turbine. I consider the power to be sufficient, but not exhilarating.
I don't do smoke and I typically only use three batteries total. If I could get this at 26-27lbs I would be happy.

Thanks for the help! Iíve got a spray gun if needed, but hopefully I can get them to fill the aerosol can. -Tom

Yes thatís the one! I have used it before it works fantastic. Itís a great product for those whom donít have the spray gear. One tip is after you use it, place it in the freezer. It will last 4 additional days.

Excellent! I did some searching and found an Automotive Paint store only 2 miles from my house, they even have a PPG color workstation so hopefully they will be able to match the colors. I donít know yet whether or not the can make up aerosol cans yet, Iíll find out tomorrow when they open. Thanks again for all the help, much appreciated -Tom

I live in the northeast so there have not been very many good flying days in the last few months. I have it set up and ready to go, but I have not done a final balance or a weight yet. Have been waiting for the thrust vectoring issue to be resolved first. I was hoping it would come in soon but at this point it will probably be a minute. I will most likely balance a test fly it this spring.

I have the air system for retracts. Just saw a JP electric set for under $400! JP system but I donít see to much information on the use of these. Are they not as good as the electrons?
