I exchanged emails with him a couple weeks ago as well and he told me the same about T1 being shut down.

A tip when spraying the final clear cote. You need to ask the paint man to sell you a product called blending agent. Upol sells it. What it does is it melts the sprayed clear cote to the original clear. Itís actually a reducer that when sprayed on the edges of the sprayed clear, it makes it an invisible transition.

I heard from him via an email question I sent him a few days ago. T1 might be shut down but Kingtech is still shipping, I ordered another K30 and I got it from Taiwan in only six days

Thanks for the tip. The folks at my local paint shop are friendly and seem knowledgeable so I will ask them about the blending agent, I certainly donít want any clear coat lines I am really excited about learning how to do these paint repairs!

My T-1 progress so far is: Servos all installed with linkages etc. Been out of model building for a while so the placement layout of turbine, receiver, batteries etc have me pondering. Donít know where the fuel tank goes so itís not clear. Been looking for a setup on rcu but itís not clear.

If I may ask a question.. Why are you using a PowerBox GPS instead of the Jeti GPS (Which gives you much better data, in my opinion, for in flight altitude and speed as well as position in Jeti Studio)? Beautiful Build BTW!

Chris: I start using the PB GPS on my speed helicopter.......it’s way more accurate...I do have one Jeti GPS..... thanks that was 2017...change in 2018.....again in 2019...and again will be in 2020... LOL

Led:They use to be available at Dreamworks, but not sure now...I get mine direct from Intairco .net (Australia)

The Festo are available from Aeropanda....

led, thinking of your question....if your asking about the piece glued into the tank......they are T-one on this airplane....

If you don't have a 3D printer, something like this is inexpensive and van be used to mount valve

Does anyone have the lengths (in mm) of each supplied push rods for the flaps, ailerons, elevators and rudder? I have a bunch of Hanger 9 push rods hanging around and hoping to use them on the T1, if I ever get it

Thanks,
Tim

It was a guessing game trying to figure it out. I got the correct flap deployment using two of them. Just donít remember which ones.

ĎActually mine is pretty easy to measure....my T-1 is from 2017....and the Flap pushrod is on the outside just like the aileron, not sure when they started doing them inside....thereís quite a few differences with mine compare to today...

Guys, a question about KingTech telemetry. The settings / Pump Factor /. This is the pump name (KP - 300,500,800), or it is the value that is in the menu to set ECU / Run Menu - Pump Limit / ***winter***

I wonder which to set the value for the turbine KingTech K140G . Nowhere in the manual I found the value of / Pump Factor /. I think it should be the average pump power /flow/. From which the fuel consumption is calculated and the display shows the approximate fuel remaining in the tank. ***winter***

Pump Factor??? What is it you are trying to accomplish? The ECU should already be setup for you ....

These are not ECUs supplied with the pump. This is KingTech Telemetry, an optional accessory. It is not delivered directly to the pump. This means that it is not set to the pump. ***winter***
