Throckmorton J.M.A. Meeting 15th - 16th October U.K.
Big thank you to the JMA Team for organising the above meeting, lots of sunshine and flying.
On the selection of photographs below demonstrates a "good save" after the F18 canopy became detached, however it was still attached to the airframe, and made for interesting handling.
Nice one D.W.

Would have been nice to get it trimmed before the canopy popped, but just made it more fun ;-)
really good day, plenty of flying for those who wanted it.
Was good to get another set up flight on the F-35, I'm almost there now.
looking forward to more flying tomorrow

Great job getting shots in difficult light ( the sun is on our faces at TM) the Kangeroo in the middle of the third set was built by me in 2003 for a friend, this then got sold to Ali to use at the two JMA Rookie days, a friend of the current owner bought it from Ali at the second day, it's still flying with the original P-80, it's great to see old friends still flying. I believe my first Hotspot from 2000 is still flying too.

Dave,
Yes, the Kangerroo still looks good, Colin (Ultra Lightning) mentioned he had his BVM Bobcat with him, that model has seen a few birthdays too, AMT Mercury powered, was that Trevors old Bobcat?

Pretty sure I sold Colin the kit and he built it, Bobcats never die, Jason F, my first blue yelliw and my painted cheque are all still flying! Over 10 years each of them.
Another great day today, much quieter than yesterday, probably the weather watchers guessed wrong- local rain stopped around 8.45am and it was still sunny when I left.
will post any pics I have
