Default Sad news in the Jet Community

Paul Judice has passed away. Paul apparently had a heart attack and died in his sleep the morning of 12-05-2016.
Paul had recently attended Best In The West 2016. He had a beautiful custom painted King Cat. Paul was a good friend
and a great pilot...

Whilst I have no real interest in jets, let me offer my condolences and prayers to Paul's family and friends. It is always sad to lose someone.

Never flew RC with Paul, but flew with him at Virgin. Great guy, great guy to work with, professional, knowledgable, easy to get along with... and one hell of a pilot. My prayers, condolences, and well wishes go out to his friends and family. What a loss.

I bought an Ultra Bandit from him and talked to him quite a bit before and after the exchange, seemed like a stand up guy. Why can't it happen to the *******s of the world? So sad.

Paul was like a brother to me . My wife and myself are crushed . i receive a phone call from his wife that morning and i still don't believe it. I'll miss him horribly . Paul was a great caring and generous person. i used to do builds for him when he was still working because he didn't have the time. Three years ago his kidneys failed thus he was forced to do dialysis . It never slowed him down . i'll always regret not taking him up on his many offers to come out for a week or two to fly with him. I can go on and on . i'll always treasure his friendship . I miss you Bro. fly high till we meet again

In Memory of
Paul Roland Judice II

March 26, 1963 - December 5, 2016
Obituary
Biography

Paul Roland Judice II Paul left far too soon... He was born on March 26, 1963 raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended Daniel Murphy HS and then Mount St Mary's. Paul graduated from Embry Riddle in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he received his degree in Aeronautical Engineering... then started his career as a pilot! The journey was hard, long, and not easy, but he finally got into the left seat at Virgin America. Paul loved to fly RC planes from foamies to jets. Flying was not just his career, but his passion. Paul loved to cook and grill and use his smoker. He sure made some great ribs! He leaves behind his daughter, Paige, the apple of his eye; his wife, Sophie; his mother, Michiko; his sister's, Lisa & Yvonne; his niece, Brielle; his nephew, Maxwell; and all of his cousins, extended family and many friends.

As you may know, Paul was on the kidney transplant list at Mayo Clinic since 2014. Unfortunately, he passed away before receiving it. In lieu of flowers, please consider a tribute gift to the Mayo Clinic by going to: At the very top, it asks for Gift Designation, please select “Other,” and your donation will be designated to the kidney transplant patients. At the very bottom under Tribute Information, please select "In Memory Of" and type Paul Judice.

Yeah I was there and Paul looked normal, and he flew his King Cat. Great turnout for his memorial service.

i looked through the BITW 2016 videos i could find on youtube . thought i might catch a glimpse of him.
i love that kingcat he had and i begged him not to sell it which he was going to at one time last year. i would hate to see someone else end up with it. just wouldn't be right. i really wanted to get out there but the time frame was to short. He asked me many times to come out with him to the BITW show and i kept putting it off. As a sick twist of fate... two weeks before he pasted i told my wife that i wasn't going to miss it next year . i never told paul because he would say LOL... stop B*lls**ting ron. lol . I talked to paul several times a month ,every month . he was like a brother to me. i still plan on going out there next year .. i kinda feel i need to.besides it looks like a great event . lastly.. i talked to paul just a week before he pasted and everything seemed fine. we talked for an hour. we talked about my viperjet and servos etc. What a great friend he was ..
