Default New style Jersey Modeler Kero tank--Just another option

Hi all,

I just wanted to share my new style jet tank from Jersey Modeler. I am posting because you may not have seen this can before and I know I got the first one. I like the cap a whole lot better and the threads are beefy! It is a definate upgrade from my old can that does not have the adjustable pump as well.

Sorry that my pics will all be upside down, my Mac does that....

My word, is that Bandit your second jet after the KingCat?

If so, you were told by several of us before you got the KingCat, that you can't have just one.....

As for the new fuel can; I have that style in a clear/opaque color for my spare fuel jugs and they require a special place in the trailer because they are so tall. I think I'll just stay with the old version as long as it works.

Yes the original version is just the most stable on the ground ,the one after with the square base it's just pain in the ...... It flips when 3/4 fuel was used and looks funny with the white handle wish the don't change the can type maybe internal fuel pump and better battery type .

I agree with Zeeb..

I have 4 of the shorty ones that have been working fine for the past 9 yrs.

1 is the old pump non adjustable flow rate and the other 3 have the adjustable flow rate pump.

I never use the knob to adjust flow its full on or full off, Lol!!!

Those jugs look identical to the 5 gallon jugs from VP Fuels (and other companies)
When my son was racing karts, we had quite a few of those in the trailer. There are several companies who make nice aluminum holders for this style jug to make transport easy and safe. Pit pal is one company that I remember.

Well that's what I thought I'd do with mine. However my little buddy AJ cracked the glass tank on my Avanti trying to empty the tank with full suction after the first time we started the thing.

Now that model has Kevlar tanks and all of 'em have bigger vent lines.... lol

When I ordered Jet Tech tanks for an Ultra Flash, the sticker on the tanks said "warranty void if pump voltage is over 6 volts". He can't really prove what your voltage is but in my opinion, if you hear all that creaking and cracking while filling you'll probably end up with leaks sooner than you would if you just dropped the voltage and waited another minute or two to fill up.

I don't think they have the lowboy anymore. I've been searching for one. All I see is the tall square one now.

Went to website and it says they are no longer available? Referring to the Lift Lock Tool Box.
