Hi there Nick , you can find my phone in my webpage www.rcjet.gr
Unfortunately i dont trust my jets to anyone. They are too demanding in flying or too fast.

So engine choices..only the best

-Single JetCat P-200 in the middle under the rear cone : + total weight lighter by 500gr by not using two pipes / - looks ugly

-Twin JetCats P-160 : +Power / - high idle thrust so fast landings - faster fuel consumption - heavy total weigth my 1kg

And after studying other twin models i decided to start with JetCats P-100! Engines weight only 2kg both and they are lighter by 1kg in compare to the P-160!
Smaler than the P-80 but more powerful!

Now back to the Terminator.....i realised that there is no need to continue building.
Why wasting time making the intakes, the exhaust cones or the canopy...when i can MAIDEN the dam thing!

So i put on some random stickers around to increase visibility and went to find out if i like it or not.

and.........

Here it is guys!
After i took off to get in a safe altitude i trimmed it and it flies absolutely perfect.
I have flow a few jets in my model carrier and the Aviation Design Sukhoi is one of the best fliers.

After a some passes i try stalling it a few times up high and it is very healthy!
It gentle drops the nose with no wing rocking and continues straight with out entering a spin.

I guess there is no wing rocking because of the huge fins but the gentle drop of the nose has to do with Aviation Design doing there homework on the CG!

Right after the stall tests i had to come back down from the stratosphere. And i discover that it can fly slow and very scale as can be seen in the video.

During the approaching test i felt i was going to overshoot but the landing gear make alot of drag so i was spot on.
During the abort of the approaching the twin p100 proved to be perfect power. As you can see in the video the power is instant and more than enough to push me back up!

Enjoy

Hi George, you did some good job with this jet. I have same kit from around Y2K that is still sitting in it's box, that had the wings cut for aileron/flaps by Eric R. himself as at the time he offered some building services. I think the 2 x Jetcat 100 is the good power combo for this twin, as with others twins out there. I have a BVM Rafale with 2x Jetcat 160 old style with gas starters but 2 new jetcat 100 I think it will be good retrofit. They could go as well in the Liebetrau F-5F that I have to bring to flying stage as well. Pls keep posting your work it is always very informative & good source of inspiration for a lot of us.

Tack så mycket!
I left wings as is, the elevons are very effective. But yours will have better rolling rate than mine.
The most important mode of mine is the tires . Dubro will brake away and you will loose control. If you ever need tires contact me.

Yes the jetcat P-100rx is the best . You can see my maiden video above. In the test approach the kick from the two p100 is more than enough! Plus you save 1,4kg from a twin p160 setup=flying lighter!
I have some expirience from big Rafales too .. i would suggest you try fly it with single p160 ,it will fly tons lighter and you will love it!
As for the F5 you can fly also single p160 with single exhaust tube offset. Search manual of how grumania build there eurofighter 1/8.

At the moment im perfecting the vector thrust system of my SU-37. I dont like the idea of the classic ugly vector systems on the back so im working on scale design.
I made a spot welder and making several designs of tubes to test.
I will post when ill have progress .
