Has anyone ordered turnbuckles for all the control surfaces and happen to have the sizes they used?
Does anyone have pics of the mods required for the Electron gear?
Anyone have pics showing how they routed the wires around the fuel tanks and the transition from the rear fuse half to the front?

I measured the CG and was surprised to see that 220mm is the leading edge of the wing tube, we will be shooting for 215-200 CG.
1. Yes you have to remove the bell. its very easy.
2. CG at 220mm is a great starting point. most people go even further backwards. of you go with 200-215mm expect a nose heavy jet - trust me start with 220mm and enjoy

2 1/2" Flaps
3" Ailerons
3 1/2" Elevators and Rudder

You can rotate the pipe around enough to get bell on and off easily

I don't remember if I modified anything for Electrons or not....don't think so

i just routed wires up side of tank. I did make a tray under the tank. It needs to be raised a bit or pickup nipple interferes with equipment tray if I remember correctly

Splitting the tray makes maintenance easier as well

Very clean install. Can I ask what printer you use to make your servo labels?

What did you guys use to lengthen and deepen the slots for the control horns? The dremel attachment I had planned on using doesn't go deep enough.

Would anyone with the Electron gear installed mind posting some pics of their install?

Thanks!

Those of you with Electron retracts, how did you secure the gear doors to the struts? Pics?

Hello people, I recently obtained the odyssey sport jet, unfortunately when unboxing, I found out that there where 4 control horns missing and no where to be found.

I've tried contacting Gator Rc but it has been impossible, Does anyone know where i could buy the same or similar control horns for the odyssey and if not, what alternatives would you advise me to purchase.

You could purchase 1/8 inch thick carbon fiber plate and with a very fine tooth blade on a bandsaw cut out new ones. put masking tape on the carbon fiber plate both sides use one of your control horns for a template and trace them out and then cut them out

I am busy with an Odyssey build and I too will be putting in a SW190. Did you add any modifications to the frame to accommodate the larger turbine?

I have put in a HAWK Turbine 240 in mine , its 130mm diameter turbine with a weight of about 2,8kg. I hace cut of the intakes in order to be able to move the turbine forvard , close the wing tube , I have made a new fuel tank at about 3,8l that is closer CG,
The turbine mount is too low in the Odysey I had to rise the turbine about 16mm to get the trust line correct .
I´m 15,8kg empty , with almost 4 liter of fuel and 2 liter of smoke fluid is the trust nice to have , The plane flyes realy nice!! trust line seems to work great!

Regards
Tomas
