What is the Jeti Li Ion battery for?
Is this correct?
Just out of curiosity, what is your take off weight and what size turbine are you flying?

I’m guessing smoke.....now I only do 3 battery in my jets...2x li-ion the #2 is share with smoke and retract....and the turbine.

I sort of found that the smoke pump doesn’t take that much power and the retract close to nothing...per flight, I almost always land with both battery equal...

This jet was pretty much an impulse buy for me. I am waiting for a couple of other things and wanted to assemble something now while the snow still flies here in New England. I watched some videos and messaged another owner and I was sold! For $1300 shipped to your door, hard to pass it up. If you want to use their electric gear, it ois only another $650 or so which ends up under $2000 shipped. I ordered on a Sunday, and Fedex delivered it 5 days later.. I have wing and tail servos/linkages already installed! For the price, I am very impressed. Decent sized jet and so far, everything fits together nice! I got the call Sunday that my Ultra flash has hit the port so guess I will be busy for a while. Wishing I had a 160 for this, but think I will try the 140 I have unless you guys think it will be under-powered? Damn, this jet stuff is addictive!!

Cool...thank you for all the support! I am sure I will have more questions as I move along. It was your and Elad's videos that pushed me over the edge to buy it. For $1300, I plan to fly it like I stole it lol

I have a question about mounting the gear. If I mount them with the brake facing in, the week hangs out if the well a bit with them fully retracted. Is this an issue? Not the cleanest, but will it really affect anything?

If I mount them with the brakes facing out, the well is not deep enough and I will need to use 3/32” -1/8” aluminum spacers under mounting plates for clearance

stock gears fit well with no mods.
but for your gears i would mount inwards with spacers.

Just add 1/8 plywood spacers

Thank you. I did... they also needed to be angled outward a couple of degrees.

Hi All,

I flew my Aspire a few days ago with CG set at 230mm from leading edge at the root and the craft was way too tail heavy.

Are you sure you guys are measuring from the leading edge at the root?

Mine is either at 240 or 245 ( can’t remember) from LE where it meets fuse and flies amazing. Something doesn’t sound right

edit...just looked, fuse is marked 245

I will re-check my calculations but i'm confident I was at 230mm
The jet had a nose high angle of attack and was super sensitive to elevator control, I had to coax it round in order to avoid the stall and dropping a wing.

Hello, everyone,
I'm interested in the Aspire, I currently have an Odyssey and I´m very happy with it. Since I also have a second retract from the Odyssey. I wanted to ask if this would fit in the Aspire too and secondly, is the Aspire worth it compared to the Odyssey?

Greetings
Thomas
