Default Anyone still having the old (first) Habu, part of it or the Habu 2 ?

Hello, anyone still have (for sell) the original Habu or parts of it or the v2 of it ?

I’m looking for that because I have the original one (the yellow foamy) and it is getting old and over repaired, so I looking for a new body (wing and tail) to extend it life at low cost by buying only the foam part since everything else is 100% top shape.

If no one still have it, I may have interest in the V2 since it's asimilar plateform and it run with the same 4S power.

Thanks

Thanks, but for replacement, it will have to be for the original Habu (not the 2), since I do not already have an habu 2 and the EDF is not exactly the same same (it may fit, but...).

Hi Robin,
Currently there is a "gray" Habu for sale in the jets classified listing. It is paired with a Habu 32 or 32X. Check with the seller if he would part the "gray" version. Also ensure that the "gray" version is stock-unmodified.
Rgds,

Thanks Art, but it's marked as "no shipping, only local pickup".
But I found a store which is still having some parts for the Habu 1, and I'm planing to buy a Habu 2 bare replacement airframe, as it may fit.
Thanks everyone !

I've had both the v1 and v2. If I remember correctly, the wing attachment is different so don't think you can mix/match.

Good of luck with your search. If you get really stuck, I do know someone who has a v2 they would part with for 100bucks. Shipping could be expensive though.

Cheers,

Pauld

Just to tell you all, this is the official answer from Horizon Hobby about compatibility between Habu 1 and 2 internal components :

-----
Thank you for contacting Horizon Hobby.
Hi Robin,
The electronics from your Habu 1 are the same as the Habu 2 so you have no issue making the swap.
Thank you,
Kent
