I'm sure it will slow down great. It's a large draggy airframe. Looking forward to flying it to confirm as well! JS

Three flights on my T-3 yesterday. LTMA1 paperwork completed.

50.04 lbs dry. 62.93 lbs wet. This suggests around 240 ounces of fuel based on weight and density. Weight includes PB smoke system but not smoke fluid.

Flew great! I'll post my CG and throws soon. Suggested 330mm CG was nose heavy as expected. I moved it back and still want to move it back a bit more.

It flew very neutral in knife edge. Point rolls and slow rolls were smooth and precise.

7 min flight and fuel tank was still between 1/4 and 1/3 full. (Visually checked, did not measure actual). This would suggest 60-80 ounces remaining so I'll add another minute to flight timer and check again.

PBS 230N ran well and pushed this jet with good authority. Frank with 4G RC Building Specialties flew his using a K210G and it did very well also.

Air Beast gear were great ... we have a smooth, level grass field and they worked great.

I'll try to post some pics soon.

JS

Not mine ... but probably the best video I've seen of it slowing down for landing.

I did my maiden flight on my T-3 yesterday. It is powered by a Jet Central Mammoth 250. It flew well.
It needed just a few clicks of elevator trim. Compared to my T-1, the T-3 flew like it was in slow motion. It slowed down really nice for the landing.

I'm starting the build on my Monster Energy T-3. Ill get some photos up ASAP. We took the preliminary measurements for the wire harness so in the next few weeks or so they will be available on the site. I'm using the T-3 Servo package (Savox 1230) servos, Cortex gyro, 20 channel Spektrum RX, Xicoy gear and brake valves, Xicoy Fail safe 2- 3800 6.6 Life packs and the new KingTech K260G2!

Photos to follow...

Do you think Savox 1231SG's will work for the T-3?

I have a bunch of new ones.

I'm starting to put together a basic assembly manual. I say basic as there is not a lot of work and guessing to assemble this model. The manual will have CG, Throws and some basic assembly photos. Estimated completion time will be a few weeks.

If anyone has any pertinent info that has built a T3 please feel free to send it to me.
