Sandor, Did you finish project and fly? Interested in doing a conversion. Did 7 degrees up at end of tail pipe work?
Any input would be appreciated 😀 Thanks Wayne

Roban is a good kit if you like to build and don't mind splitting your wings and adding your own reinforcement. The price is right if you don't mind doing a little work.

That's just one issue.

Unless they fixed it, the gear is good for about 25 pounds and the plane weighs 34 with batteries (mine was edf), so the struts would bend no matter how well you landed it. They wouldn't even retract into the wells fighting the air stream at low speed until Down and Locked rebuilt them with beefed up motors.

If I were to do an A-10 in that size again I'd go with a Skymaster every day of the week.

I figured it maybe a turd after I saw the wing come apart on youtube. It was flying really fast but still wouldnt risk two 45s.
The SM is two big for twin 45s

Hi, I want to install a 4.5 kg turbine in a Freewing A-10 in one engine nacelle. What should be the offset angle and to which side?

Could be the reason Motion RC is probably dumping the Roban A-10. They just lowered the price from $1599 to $699. They couldn’t give me one after watching the first one go in. Perfectly level and standard flight. Then, the second one after major reinforcement, still exploded. They’d have to pay me $1599 just to take it off their hands. How many squadrons of A-10’s are left? It might make a good static model in their ready room.😀
