I'm reasonably certain that you could get all your questions answered here;

https://www.ultimate-jets.net/collec...r-71-blackbird

There are actually all three versions available and if you haven't been following Oli's posts about this model as well as others coming down the pike, and their new production facilities, you've missed some very interesting stuff....

Oh, I think you'll find it fascinating to go through some of the pictures and development data provided on the website, even if you don't buy one.

Default Sr-71

Of course the aircraft shown in the video is Lance Campbell's scratch built version upon which the Ultimate Jets kit is based. Its a small matter, but claiming that this is the Ultimate Jets version seems to me to be a stretch...

Since this SR-71 was pulled from the same molds that now belong to Ultimate Jets it is an excellent representation of the finished product. This is not the first test model, but 4th model taken from the production molds. I am sure that the Ultimate Jets version will be on par with the model built and flown faithfully by Lance and Jerry.

Without landing gear
But it sure is an amazing kit and the price all included seems fair according to the various molding technics and CAD design used.
Don't expect to own these kind of models without burning the credit card (and seriously lowering your WAF), with only a few kit built each years, the cost for producing these kits is not cheap and definitely not worth it if you don't have another business using your tools.
That's why Aviation Design (military contracts with Dassault and the french army) and Ultimate Jets (UAV business) are offering jet models with advanced building technics
