Default ATJ turbines.

After many years of flying nothing but Jet Central I am considering an ATJ 160. Give me the good, bad, and ugly. Don't tell me about other brands...not interested in anything else. Thanks!

Just bought an ATV140SV, but not flown it yet. If it works as well as it looks, I should be a happy man.

Always nice to try new things but in this situation if the product isn’t better in some way or significantly cheaper why change? Just wondering I have found myself getting away from trying things just because it’s new, I will however change brands in a heartbeat if it’s better in some way or need to suite the project!

Atj wins on price point and reliability ok it hasn't got the latest new electronics but the V10 ecu works just fine. I've got the 190sv in a UltraFlash 20 hours run time with no problems they are a great alternative to the bigger manufacturers oh yes repair bills are very low maybe lowest in the industry.

Ive got a 160SV, 2 - 220SV, and 1 - 190SV. Love them all. and Joseph is always there to help with any issues. I have not had any. Only changing of a few parameters in the ECU " Which is a great plus, you can change almost all the values, not like other brands that lock you out and you can only change certain stuff." You can change anything you want. They all perform flawlessly!! Love them!

My 160 was heavily damaged in a crash in 2019 after only limited use (I purchased it new)...I found getting it repaired in Taiwan a challenging experience with limited communication and lots of time not knowing if the factory even received the turbine. I can accept the large time zone change and the significant language barrier....but this was beyond what Im willing to accept in what I would consider customer service...

In my opinion there are better options....I will leave it at that

Is sad, the atj is a nice turbine.... but their customer service is like crap!

Stay persistent, I always sent emails to both of the listed emails, and eventually you will hear back from them....lol

Now I have a service center in the US (CRX) that takes care of all that for me..Mine needed a new shaft and he is able to get parts from ATJ and do the servicing. He has a tough time getting a hold of them as well but eventually does. I realize this doesn't help you much being down in Chile
