PowerMax Valve Help
Anyone know where I can find a substitute Valve to fit the old PowerMax cans? I’ve still got a case of the Powermax cans I use with my propane start Rhino’s but my last trigger valve no longer works.

David:
I have 3 propane start turbines, so will be using propane for a while, what I did was I used a fitting that I got with the original CARF flash retracts, the air tank has the same fitting as the powerbox can, this fitting also has a 4mm festo output for the gas line that connects to your one way before the gas valve on your jet, you need to place a festo 4mm shut-down valve on the line as once you screw this fitting on the can, it opens the valve on the can, you just open and close the festo valve as necessary, You can find it on altecare’s website
I got mine a few years ago, the new one looks a bit different, you might want to call Peter at altecare to confirm valve still has the pin that opens the valve in the can, in the picture it seems to have it.
hope this helps
