Default Boomerang Elan canopy

Does anyone have or know someone who has the clear canopy for a Boomerang Elan.
Canopy must be in good condition and person must be willing to post canopy to Australia. These planes where so popular so I’m really hopeful someone out there can help me out.

Skip the boomerang canopy.. Order a Flash Canopy from CARF, and cut it to fit the Elan Framework, and screw it in.. looks way more cool

Do I order the classic or ultra Flash canopy?
Not sure if they are the same so though I ask before I inquire about an order.

Second that. The CARF canopy is MUCH stronger and less brittle. Strangely, I found mine fit backward better. Used the “bump”in the mounted part to fit over the lip at the front of the Elan Canopy.

My canopy is painted with Tamiya “Lame Flake” paint backed with a black coat. The lame flake has flecks that change colour depending on the angle.

yes, my booms are repainted by a very talented good friend. )

cheers,

PaulD

Thanks, it’s amazing what a bit of paint and a new canopy do to freshen up an old jet.

cheers,

FYI, Quite a few people think Larry is quitting.

I spoke to him recently and he still has a few Elan s, I ordered one, and he is expecting another shipment of planes soon.

Interesting, the way I read his message he was dun.

glad to hear the Boomers will still be available. Altough IMO, I would just focus on Sprint and Elan and drop the rest.
