Default AMain Hobbies Thanksgiving Black Friday Order Still Not Shipped

So I ordered 10 MKS 777A+ servos during the Thanksgiving Black Friday sale. They showed 9 in stock, so put the whole order on hold pending back-order.

I called just before Christmas, and was told that they were waiting on 20+ to be shipped from the distributor.

They are still currently listed as back-order, with no sign of them shipping.

I'm not in a hurry, but this seems a little strange. I've never dealt with AMain Hobbies, so not sue if this is like them or not. My credit card was billed on 11/24 for the full amount.

I just ordered 2 different MKS servos direct from MKS and they showed up within a couple of days.

Just don't like loosing the 20% sale by cancelling the order.

Dispute it via your card. That will get their attention. Better to loose 20% than 80%.

I just looked into them a bit as I’ve never used them myself. They seem to have been in business since 2004 and they claim they have a 60,000 sq/ft distribution warehouse. I’d try calling them and asking “what gives?”...they don’t seem by outward appearances to be a fly by night outfit. I guess in the end trust your gut

I've made numerous orders from them mostly for rc car related items but also servos for jets and so on. Never once an issue but have had an order or two come later than expected. In the end it was just logistics or customs, when I called they were willing to do anything they could. They stated that if the order was found to be lost that they would resend the items I bought. I'd call them and they'll be happy to help.

They have better sales and discounts that I've seen out there and their shipping is great to Canada, the rewards program is a bonus.

A-Main is a very large outfit . They are the largest and best priced go-to place for anything helis and cars. Your order is in the computer, and its not like someone is personally looking at it, unless you talk to customer service. Worst case, you would have no issue getting refunded....

Could just be taking time for them to get the servos that are back ordered

I've bought stuff from them over the years, and never really had an issue. Most recently, some Pulse batteries for my Goblin Heli. I'm sure they are just waiting for the stock to show up.

The 9 in stock probably were long gone before your order got there... Those 777's have been on intergalactic back order for quite some time everywhere so I have been told. Haven't heard anything lately, I would give them a call.

I've been using Amain for about 12 years impeccable service. Give them a call at the very least they'll refund your money.
