Updated layout as of July 2nd 2018


I am starting a new thread for the 2018 Kentucky Jets Camper assignments, the official thread has become clogged with photos and hard to navigate.

We had to adjust the map due to the airports increased activity, and loss of one hanger due to a storm, there are now planes tied down on the tarmac area so we had to move some people to the pad where the hanger was removed.
I hope everyone is understanding of this as it is beyond our control, and it is good that the airport is seeing increased business.

At the moment we have site 16A open, we do have some other spots in reserve if needed, please let us know if you are planning on camping on site.
If anyone on the list can't make it please let us know so we can use the spot for others who may need it.

Reminder if your are fortunate enough to be able to plug into the airport power Lewis will see you for collecting for electrical hookups.
If running a generator please be mindful of your neighbors.

Does site 10 for Bob Oliva have electricity?

There is electricity from the old hanger, but very limited, so no guarantees, basically whom every gets there first will have access

Thanks for letting me know. My generator is not big enough to run my AC. A week in the Kentucky heat would be too much. Ill stay at a campground nearby. You can make my spot available.

Map Update

Due to site improvements at the airport (improved drainage ditches), Tent #1 had to be shorted to 20 slots, the 4 slots that weer taken away from tent #1 were added to tent #3
Also due to the drainage ditch, the access to the rear of Tent #2 is no longer possible from the north end, all access will be from Airshow Rd going around lot #1 to gain access to the back.
To help with traffic Tent #2 was pushed back from Airshow Rd 20 feet for a better right of way.
Additionally due to FAA regulations for distances from runway, Tent #3 had to re positioned to the North slightly

I hope everyone understands that changes are due to airport updates.

Had a major change of plans dropped on me so I won't be coming with the trailer. You can re-assign slot #14 to someone else. I will have to come solo and stay in a hotel room I found over the weekend. Sorry for the late cancellation, I just found out about the changes this weekend. See you Thursday.
