I'll never understand people that get upset when a sale is announced because they already bought. Happens all the time from groceries to cars.
trouble is if you wait until the sale you want you may never get anything. If you missed out on a sale bummer.
If no sale was announced would you be upset with your purchase? No. Enjoy your purchase and don't sweat the sale.....

You could give everyone on the planet a free dollar and someone would complain they only got one dollar.

Too true. I get the disappointment when you realize you could have saved some money, I feel it everytime I order something from the USA and a week later the exchange rate is better and I could have saved a bunch just because of the difference in the dollar haha!

The worst one for me was in 2004, I decided I was finally going to buy my Harley, the FXST that year brand new was $29,900 with taxes in. That had come down $5000 from the previous year due to the exchange rate being so much better. Well with that price sales rose in Canada and Harley Davidson allotted more bikes for Canadian sales. in 2005, the 2005 FXST model ended up being $20,900 with taxes in. A $9000 difference in one year......... I was bummed I bought when I did, but had to remind myself that I chose that time to buy and I was happy at the time so regardless of what the 2005 price was, I was still happy.

Well said. Unless your wife is a fortune telling gypsy who isn't trying to get back at you, there will always be those sales miss one side or the other.

Not sure how you can say anyone who just bought one got screwed,,the planes have a price, buyers know it, paid it, and then you say others got screwed?? You got a screwed up way of looking at things,,

That is a big discount and in a small community that could dictate the buyers next purchase. But then who cares. These are toy airplanes lol

but they could offer something? Maybe the equivalent in merch on the shelf???
cheers to all

happy flying

let's not get too emotional smile

Tim,

You bought your mini on 5/1 and you act like it was last week. You own a hobby shop, if a customer bought a drone from you and your manufacturer puts on a sale 2 months later, can your customers come back and ask for a refund/credit?

Sheeesh....

Dirk

I think I'll go back to the car dealer I bought my last new vehicle from and ask for some free cool parts since they blew out the final year models for less than I paid when I bought mine. Think I'll go back to where I bought my last jeans too and grab a t shirt since they've been on sale since then as well.
That makes sense to me.

I guess when things go on sale and I don't have the cash to buy them at that time I should expect the retailer to honor that sale price 6 months later when I do have the money too right?

I seriously cannot believe that this is even an issue.

Sorry no issues. I was wrong. Happiness and peace in the RC world.

Cheers

BUY more jets from Dirk he is super knowledgeable and delivered exactly what I wanted.

T1 brand as represented by Dirk @ PJ is hands down the best bang for the buck even exceeding some very expensive brands.

glad to see all is right in the world

now get your jet flying and travel 3 days to ky for a week of fun next year.. you will enjoy the people and flyers..

and yes dirk goes over the top to take care of people. i got a k60g2 from local flyer in an hsd viper he bought the combo from dirk and the original owner was having an isuue with hot starts and sold it all to me for a great price. i sent engine back to dirk with only 30min total time on it and they fixed it right up good as new and no cost to me. i was fully expecting to have to pay for it to be made to run right but dirk thinks a lot of the kingtech name and took care of it so i can say these things and know kingtech is a worthy purchase.

see you all at jok this week

Hope no tariff upcharge, that would really suck. Been wanting a jet since I sold my last one that I bought in 2008.

Don't believe the anti Trump media. China will fold long before it trickles down to our hobby.

Just a heads up!!!! IF you are buying and jet and your close to Florida Jets wait and check specials. If its close to Jetpower and your going wait. If its close to Kentucky wait. It been this way for as many years as I can remember. Sometimes year end as well.
