Harlock RC Viper 140
#182

Length: 7 in.
Width: 3.75 in.
Height: 3.4 in.
It's a round tank with a flat bottom.
Tight fit installing in fuse opening as it is 3.4 in. wide.
Hope that helps

Are folks using the 50mm of flaps? At 50mm they must be close to 80 degrees down. With a K70 and CG at 110mm, inverted it needs only a bit of down. On landing she only slows down so much and drops like a rock. Drops quite a bit in the turns also.

They build them and they are the only place to get them right now, they are made when you order them. They aren't producing dealer stock right now but the good news is, if you do order one you will get it in a couple of weeks like the website says

These guys made me a beautiful, well fitting pipe and got it to me in VERY short order. You do have to dremel out a bit of wood for the bell. It also goes in in (2) parts and you then screw the bell to the pipe. It is ever so slightly smaller at the tail so you have to make a few standoffs. It is so much nicer than what ships with the kit.........

So I am finally going to start on putting together my little harlock. I have been looking at the inside and looking a pictures of the little tank it come with the conversion kit. I am thinking of making my own tank that will kind of lock in place around the middle wood rail in the inside. I have a good amount of blue foam left over that i have been packing around haha. I put it to good use. What I am trying to find out is how much does the tank that comes with the conversion kit hold in fuel? and what are your thoughts on the tank? do you wish is was bigger, easy to install and strap down, etc.

The only issue I had with the stock tank is the fittings never sealed right in the neck and I replaced them with BVM stuff from DreamWorks
Other than that, it fits fine and works fine, I don't see any reason to mess with it. I get plenty of flight time with my 45G3 and think carrying any more weight would be of more detriment then benefit. I fly 7m and always have fuel in the bottom of the tank when I land plus the UAT
