Well finally a finished part (mostly). I still have a little touchup areas but overall I am pleased. This scheme is really going to look great. Will work on wings and fuse this week. Hope to have it in ARF form in a couple of weeks.

Hello Tom, unfortunately my airline shut shop after 25 years and I have now moved to Istanbul, it’s a commuting job which gets me home only for a week every month, now with Covid not been home for the last 6 months.
Completing this project now looks like a long shot for me😢

So sorry to hear that. Airline life sucks even on a good day. Furloughs, shutdowns ,commutes and all the bs sure takes its toll. I thoufht my commute waa bad but you hold the record. Covid had really upended the industry. I dont miss it at all. Best of luck to you and stay safe!

Probably plenty of jobs coming up with PIA after the CV issue is overcome !

Large numbers of their pilots found to have fraudulent licences and have been suspended.

Anyway, whatever, good luck, glad I’m retired and out of it.

...and TP, enjoy that Fouga, it flies like a dream.,

Beautiful work Tom! And if you special ordered a scheme, you'd still be waiting for your ARF from overseas!

Another pix of tail section. Over the next few days I will start the gear install, make some minor flap adustments then install the pipe to allow the fuse halves to be joined.

funny how that seems to be the case... then there is the "don't f it up" factor of not scratching or scuffing the finishes as you do "stuff" the beast...

After 2 years it's about ready. Need to mount batts and do a couple of small tweeks. Hope to test fly it on Black Friday.
