Thanks Tom,
Done a fair bit of work last 4 months, still lots to do. Thinking of flying her in primer, need to get her airborne now.
Do you find the rabbit thrust adequate?

RABBIT will work fine. That's what use off of grass.

Don't think any bigger motor would work because of small diameter tailpipe. I looked at using a Jet Central Lynx (30#) but tail pipe was too small.

Would anybody per chance know where I could get a complete Avonds (preferable) or other similar sized Fouga 1/4.5-1/5.5 kit? I realize Aviation Design stopped and so did Avonds so am super sad about it.

Check with PA. Last time I spoke with him he had 1 Fouga kit left.

I had an email from Philip this morning, he sold the last Fouga kit two months ago !

What a great kit and fabulous flying airplane. I love the way mine flies, it's so very graceful. Hate that it is no longer produced.

There is a company out of Israel that sells an arf version that seem to be pretty good. There is a thread somewhere in RCU for it.
