Take out the permanent magnets in the JPs and add the LGC 15 and they work great!

Are you referring to the JP brakes for the 2.2m T1 or the T1 Mini, or both?

Do you know if anyone has tried the Er30 Electrons in a T1 mini with the LG-15? I have a set of Er30 retracts, they seem like they might be a little small for T1 mini...

I have a set of er30 for my mini....and a set of er40 for my T-1.....I will install that shortly right after I’m done with my Havoc SS, which is getting closed...

In both I’m retaining the LG15 since I already have them, I purchased the retract with no controller..... Electron Spain send me the setting for both set.

Would you mind posting the settings they sent for the er40 on the T1? I have a brand new LG15 I’m going to use with mine and not order the controller with the gear.

thx!

I don’t mind sharing, but if you contact Electron they would give you the setting according to your serial number...probably would be the same setting....

Kind of weird. Must be in the GS200. I would recheck all programming settings. Then if I did not find the smoking gun, I would save the programming to the SD card, reset to the defaults and start over. If that did not work, I would contact Gaspar. He may want you to send the file or the unit to him.

Definitely sounds strange. If you are using a Mercury make sure you have the Mercury Gyro disabled on your output port that goes to the input of the GS-200. I did not experience this particular issue but I had some other weird things happening until I disabled the Mercury Gyro on the output port. -Tom

I’m not saying that disabling the Mercury gyro will fix his problem, I’m just saying it might be worth trying to eliminate variables. I had some issues that were resolved by disabling the Mercury gyro, that’s all I’m saying.

I ended up turning my travel down on my steering servo to 90% and all is working fine now.jeti ds24

Glad you got it sorted Just for clarification, you turned the travel down on the LGC15, right?

80% travel on Jeti is equal to 100% on most radios so I'm thinking it was out of the range the controller was looking for at full stick. Was going to suggest this earlier but he worked it out.

I’m using a DS-24 and I’ve got my travel set to 100% on the LGC15 and have not seen this issue, I’ll definitely watch out for now.

Just something to consider and it could be on the edge. Also he said it only happened in one direction so you never know.

While I know that 80% on Jeti is 100% on most other radio system......I have been using 100% for all the gear controller, electronic valve ect.....without any problem...since you need to program all these, so they should pickup only 2 things......the low and high end points...

Then maybe during programming it didn't pick up full throw in one direction for whatever reason.

Very much possible, but if I remember correctly there’s also a reading you can watch while programming the LG15 as you set it up....you can see the values...

Ive been reading this very informative thread and purchased an LG15 for my Ultra Flash Evo.
I hooked the LG15 to the nose gear and set up RC per the LG15 instructions however the gear will not cycle.
I can hear the gear motor give a momentary click when I input a command on the radio but it does not move.
I did remove the 2 pin connector from the JP gear and install a 3 pin connector so the ground and signal
are plugged in correctly on the LG15. I tested the gear motor with a servo tester and it cycles fine.
EPA is set to the max on my Futaba 18SZ.
Any ideas?

You mentioned a ground and signal wire from the LGC15 to your retract, just want to make sure you meant ground and positive voltage wire, there is no signal wire coming out of the LGC15 to the retract. Also, you want to make sure that when you change from the JP two pin to the three pin that the red and black wires are in the end slots of the three pin connector, with the center pin blank. Tom

My apologies yes, I meant to say ground and positive wire for the gear.
yes my center pin is blank my ground is at the bottom of the controller and my positive wire is on the highest pin position.
