This one is on my list as well, just not sure how it will look in person with the over sized panel lines. I will wait to see how Gunrads turns out. Definitely a good project though

The sticker shock is a little high. But remember this is everything included its not all broken down into a million small things you have to add up to make it feel cheaper. The similar sized skymaster F18 cost me more then this and it was a train wreck of an ARF to say the least. I have not seen the F22 first hand yet but looking forward to seeing it!
T-one rather then rushing to release it when it really was not ready without mods and rework they went back and fixed a bunch if issues to make it right before they start selling them. Something other manufactures could learn from.
Also the plug and play version is about the same price as a plug and play BVM plane.

I am really glad you cleared this up for everyone, same size jets should all be the same price. I was looking to buy a New Mustang with a 107" wheelbase but found the Ferrari has a 104" wheelbase and I was hoping I could get it for the Mustang price, what do you think? I also see the BVM bandit should be the same cost as an CARF ultra flash,, I guess we should call and talk to BVM about their price mistake..... Sheesh...

Well I think the price of model jets these days is getting ridiculous, particularly when you consider what little they sell for second hand. Having said that the F22 does look nice.

I'm sorry your not happy with the pricing of the F-22, however your not comparing apples to apples here with the Eurofighter and the Yak130. They are very different kits both mechanically, assembly and components wise.
If you look at the descriptions between the two you will realize..... (Yak, Electric gear with HV door servos installed and includes the gear controller, Yak comes with cockpit) and the geometry of the Yak gear is a little more complex to manufacture than the Eurofighter
Euro:
Painted air-frame, scale speed brake installed, AIR retraces with cylinders installed, Y pipe, Hardware, Kevlar tank with fittings (scale cockpit upgrade 350.00) that puts it at 3050.00 Plus Shipping
YAK-130:
Painted air-frame, scale speed brake installed, detailed Fiberglass scale cockpit, Kevlar tank with fittings, hardware package, pipe, scale painted electric gear/wheels and brakes with controller, gear & doors with HV servos installed. $3995.00 plus shipping
So that's a $945 difference for the added cockpit, electric gear and brakes plus the digital door servos factory install with electronic controller. Not to mention that its double the cockpit.
I hope this helps to clear up any confusion....

Ignore the *****ing about the price. For years guys *****ed about the price of BVM kits then Chinese ARFS came along and severly undercut the price. Now they ***** about the quality of their $19.95 jet when it explodes on the test flight. Bottom line...(as a general rule) you get what you pay for. Good luck with the new kits I just might pull the trigger on one!

Lets try this again....... last post with an uploaded picture just gave me thousands of characters on the screen...........
As I was saying,
I do think 9K is awfully steep (with Y pipe, lights and external tanks) or 11k for pnp, but that just puts it out of my price range. What puts it out of my interest entirely is the grotesquely huge panel lines that make it look more like a large foamy than a 9k arf. It looks like a cartoon. I tried uploading a picture but it just gave me a whole bunch of code, I'll try just a link this time.

There are plenty of people who don't mind the panel lines, in fact some prefer a little justifiable exaggeration in a model and will become very happy modelers especially when they start to fly one.
