I bought a CARF SU-30 that came with Vector and Royal. The Royal is in Delta 2X mode. This will give you two sets (A/B) of gyro controlled outputs (Ail,Rud, Elev). One set goes to the flying surfaces and another set to the thrust vector
Below is the setup sheet. Hope that helps

I'm not much of a 3d guy, but f you are inclined to do them with the SU-30, the I would go with the Igyro.

I was in FL Jets where Ali flew the Su-30 without Vector. It was a beautiful flight!
Also Henry flew the SU-30 with Vector. Crazy to think a plane that size could do the flips he was doing.

So its up to what you really like.

BTW, For my CARF SU, It was recommend to me to setup an "emergency" switch for the Vector tubes so that each tube can point "outwards" (Yaw of the plane) in case of a flame-out. This to help keeping the plane straight on a single engine situation. So I'm setting a Igyro 1e for the rudders in mine in order to save the Royal gyro's yaw for each tube.
