I’m starting to sort out what kind of receiver to use. I’m a Spektrum radio person and usually go for the PowerSafe receivers but starting to worry about the extra weight. A larger jet can easily handle the large PowerSafe and two LiFe batteries but not so sure about this micro. A smaller jet probably needs something like a 9350 but not so sure it’s able to handle all those HV servos of a PNP and the electric gear

I have a small jets that I’m doing different models but the same size with a 45..I’m going to use a rx12ch since we need at least 11 ch’s with a dual RX battery....Pretty sure a 2x 850mAh would work just fine and a 1100 liFe for the ECU, it’s also an all HV setup with electron r30 gear.

I don’t think I would fly jet now days with a single RX battery.....if on the bench if the 2x 850 don’t seem to last long enough....I can always bump that up....or if ballast is required they will be bump instead of lead....

Every Jet <2M that I’ve built in the past 3 years has been set up on a single rx pack. In 1/2 of these, that pack also supplies the ECU power. All of these jets have typically been flown multiplied times a week and all have been reliable. Look back a bit in this thread. The T-One Micro I built for David has (1) 2s 4000 LiPo that runs the entire airplane. Today’s batteries are vastly more reliable. Today’s radio systems provide constant status of the packs condition. I know most will be uncomfortable with this setup but it works very well for us

I run KingTech so they need a 3S Life of a 9-9.9v so 2s is out and there’s nothing out there to provide a good voltage regulator, that I know off....you think you save weight ? For sure you are saving space....maybe not??

The engine runs directly from the 9.9v LiFe. The SBEC runs the radio system and gear if needed. All typically run through a Jeti MUI30.

This is the power wiring for David’s T-One Micro. Since it’ uses an X45 there is no need for the SBEC since the X45 runs off a 2s pack. If using a Kingtech I’d insert a SBEC before the receiver.

I rewire the MUI for a cleaner install. Careful soldering required for this so please don’t try this if you are not 100% confident in your skills.

I emailed Dirk directly this morning. He was quick in getting back with me saying my T-45 schemed T One Micro is finished with painting and is in make ready with the PNP part of the build. Shouldn't be long now. Ordered it May 23rd

Are there any more flight reports on this?

I’m interested to know if it has any bad habits considering the relatively small size.

So almost 16 weeks for a non plug and play I guess. I have a Mini on order since beginning of July and was told about 12 weeks. Flying season is coming to an end here anyway. Just hope I get a notification as Dirk told me when I spoke to him before I ordered that they let you know it's ready before they ship so you can coordinate with them when to ship in case you'll be out of town. Some guys in the Mini thread posted that the plane just showed up at their doorstep without even a shipped email notification.

Well, i received mine today. Looks to be all intact. It was packed in bubble wrap, tons of foam and then a honeycomb type of heavy duty cardboard and strapping. No damage that I can see. Didn’t receive any notice from shipping company. Just my local postman knocked on the door and handed it to me.

Yeah. I figured it out as soon as it was posted. I guess sitting closer for awhile, it was tough at first. Won’t be able to work on it for a few weeks. I’ll post a few more pictures

Looks good. That's really disappointing that at the very least a shipping notification is not sent. Dirk told me otherwise. Did the postman require a signature? Did you check your account of PRCJ's website and see if any shipping info was put up under your order? Thanks.

No I didn’t check but it seems to have arrived intact and required a signature so I’m happy. Finish is really super. This thing will be a rocket with my KT 45 so I’m sure it’ll be moved over into my son’s inventory and I’ll crew chief. Will need to see after the maiden

LA jetGuy. I found the CG up above in the thread and you mentioned the throws. Could you list those for me?

I’ll try to weigh it tomorrow afternoon. It’ll just be the airframe, landing gear, turbine pipe and servos/connections.
