Default Pirotti models now in CARF's control

Breaking news is that the Pirotti sports jets are being manufactured by CARF now, I think a full release will be done at FJ next week.
I know fans of the range will be happy as the finish will be more consistent.

Yahoo, maybe now they will be able to be had with some certainty, and not the long wait until “I don’t know when”. This going to make the decision as to what to get next a little harder. Don’t see it yet on the CARF site under the “news” information, but i’m sure it will not take long.

Robert

Yes, I'm sure it will improve the situation I know existed before. I understand it will go on the site over the weekend

Does this mean Pirotti is out of business and CompARF bought the tooling and naming rights?
I tried unsuccessfully to purchase a Rebel Hot and just gave up on the idea.
I wonder how long it will take for CompARF to be able to deliver Pirotti jets to customers?

Pirotti are still there with the G-91 and the original owner stays as the Italian agent, CARF bought the designs and moulds and will ‘CARF’ them all. Things are well advanced, talk to CARF at FJ and I’m sure deliveries can be confirmed

I’m told Hot and 2m Rebel production is just about to start, with the complete range in manufacture by April.
Im sureguys who do visit FJ will update the thread with more info. For sure there will be new schemes too.

I guess the Tuono is no longer made. Shame, liked the look of that one. Not a fan of the Rebel design in the least.

I liked the look of the Tuono as well... especially with the curved wing tips. There was one in a Black JPS colour scheme at jet power many years ago and it looked stunning

Any new words from CARF as to how things are moving along? Looking to put my name on the list to purchase.

It’s on going. Which version were you looking for? Talk to one of the US reps and they can hook you up with what will come into the US warehouse

The CARF website just mentions vouchers becoming available in a few days to place a refundable deposit on any Rebel
That message has been up for a couple of weeks now.
Havemy seen nor heard of anything since, like available colors, schemes, custom paint, prices, etc

Any idea about the future of Pirottis Fiat G91? I own one but, i am curious who will sell replacement parts etc. Pirotti has been unresponsive about some missing cockpit parts for over a year now so I am wondering....

Dave, currently looking for the "Hot", building T1 mini now, want to have a selection of the small jets for local flying. I have talked with Andy and he also did not have any information yet, will just keep on eye open for any new news.

Description The Rebel HOT is the smallest of the Rebel family. With 1.5m wingspan it is perfect for summer evenings and for small cars. Its peformance, however, is just as great as of the bigger rebel versions. Production is underway and the picture shows the first Stock Rebel Scheme offered. Take the chance and order your favourite main color at no extra charge for the time there's no stock yet in our warehouses. Specify your confirmed color in the Remarks section of your quote reqeust or let you Sales Rep know.

The Rebel HOT's prefabrication will be extremely improved, just like you expect it from a CARF-Model. Retracts, thrust tube and fuel tank will be optional and will be listed at the time your model is produced.

A perfectly suited engine size is 45 - 70N, where the 70 is almost overkill...

The price of the Rebel HOT will be 1,590 USD / 1,590 Euro (incl VAT).

This is a deposit voucher, which will put you in the queue for one Rebel HOT, but will be refunded without questions asked in case you change your mind while waiting. Item Number: 570001

Factory Order Item

Price: 500.00 USD

Curious to see if they have retooled the wing mounts to fit the JP retracts or if they left it as the original to fit the Electron retracts.

Same case with me. Ordered a scale cockpit 12 month ago and always excuses. I have now printed the items by my own.
It would be much better for this beautiful G91 if it would be produced by CARF. The delivery and customer behavior is by far better then Pirotti. But the plan is super!
